It's been 6 years since my last comics page - 10 pages into a 16 pages commission I decided that my level of suckiness was such it it could be defined as a (minor) crime against humanity, and should be terminated. Well, I'm 6 years older - not much wiser, mind you, but more ready to tolerate my artistic shortcomings. And here I go again, trying to illus the origin of Swamp Hulk's Progressive Patriot in comics format. Hope I fare better this time, and that I manage to find the inner strength blah blah.
I'm such a wuss...
Anyway, here's page 1. Any comment would be appreciated.
Ill be blunt and say that you are an overly self critical artist. Just from the woman who is falling alone I will say that this looks something like what I would pull off the magazine rack in any comic store and see. You do draw very well. Now HANDLE IT

Being normal is like being in a gray cubicle, while being weird is like being in a pinkish purple cubicle, which is pretty cool.
Ouch... Cruel to be kind, eh? Thanks. I'm obviously critical of this (those loose screws have long ago fallen off and are lost forever), but I AM pleased with the fact that I managed this page without any reference (except for the pasted-on BH logo); over the last few years I have lost confidence to such an extent, that I could hardly draw a line without some reference.
