Dave Stevens' Rocketeer

Dave Stevens - creator of The Rocketeer and and amazingly gifted illustrator and pin-up artist - has passed away earlier this week, at the too-young age of 52.

The picture is my colors on a Stevens b&w I found in a Comic Book Artist issue (#15), which had long interview with Dave. Coloring a dave Stevens drawing is a bit... well, stupid - the man was an amazing colorist - but I wanted to do something (and there was no way I was going to try and color one of his Betties!).
